I Can't Wait Til Spring

I'm sick of all of these snowstorms.
Plus, I wanna wear my skirts and gladiators already.
The other day I was shopping at Target,
and they had the cutest little baby floral skirts!
And all of it for under $20!
That's what I call a deal!
I'm just fed up with the ridiculous pricing for simple articles of clothing.
Like, a black blazer in the womens/juniors section in a department store such as Bloomingdales can cost up to over $100,
whereas a black blazer from the boys department in a JcPenny or Walmart only costs like $20.
So what if it's a boys jacket?
Go to a tailor and use the money you saved and have it fit especially for you!
You know what else really bugs me?
How people are so into buying brand labels like everyone else.
I'm not saying its bad to buy labels (trust me), but buying the clothes just for the sake of having the designer label at the nape of your neck?
COME ON PEOPLE!
What happened to being creative and having an individual sense of style?
You're clothes should express yourself of who you want to be.
Yeah, wearing designer labels from head to toe would make you look like you've got money and blah blah blah, but seeing your outfit would strike an individual as flashy and expensive.
I'm talking about over the top Ed Hardy trucker hats and Juicy Couture Sweats and a Gucci bag ,
thnigs that just SCREAM the name of the designer.
When you're wearing the latest from Forever 21 and thrift stores, putting together an outfit thats simple and chic, strike someone as "she's got style".
People need to stop spending so much money on such clothes.
An Ed Hardy Shirt costs like what, $50?
I can grab a white t shirt from Kmart, get some tie dye, draw on a skull and grab some rhinestones from Michaels for like $10.
America is in a recession right now
We need to stop spending so much money on things now, because later,
you're just going to regret it.
'Nuff Said.
