I was away

On Thursday,
I left my town at 3 in the morning to go on a 13 hour trip to Chicago to visit my extended family and be a junior bridesmaid in a wedding.
I slpet most of the way and it didn't seem that long.
When I got there, we met up with some relatives and partied it up.
We met our secondcousins who we haven't seen in almost 10 years and my brother looked exactly like our second cousin (except that my cousin was a bit taller and had some dyed hair).
We also met some friends of my cousins and other people in the bridal party.
We took a gazillion pictures which are all now on facebook.Thge
The next day, my family went shopping at this huge mall and I finally spent my forever21 gift card from my birthday.
I bought a ring, a necklace, a beanie, a hello kitty key cap, and my mom a bracelet.
I was dissapointed with the forever21stores in Chicago though. The selections weren't as big as the ones we have here in New Jersey.
that night it was the rehearsal dinner and I met my partner.
He was okay looking, not hot, but not ugly, but he was uber quiet! I don't think I ever heard him say a single word. He was supposedly this 19 year old genius who perfected his ACT.
And his sister (another junior bridesmaid) didn't say a word either! Except for yes and no.
I understand shyness, and not knowing anybody, but a little hey howzit going doesn't hurt.
The next day which was Saturday was the wedding.
I got up around 7 do to my own hair and makeup, which saved a lot more money than having someone else do it.  I put on my four inch uber high silver heels and walked around in them for a couple of hours.
My legs hurt so much and they're still sore as I'm writing this.
The wedding was just likea normal wedding, but the reception, now that's where the party's at.
Filipinos always give huge parties with a lot of food.
So we ate and then we danced and we partied all night long.
We saw this guy break dancing and dancing real good, and we were like, dayyumm.
The party ended and we all went home.
We were orginally going to leave the next day, but we stayed on Sunday to go downtown Chicago and to another party.
I didn't want to go downtown at all because thatmeant walking, and from the night before, I could barely walk.
All we did was walk around and look at some stores and people watch for 2 hours.
Thn we went back to the hotel and got ready for the party.
We drove up to someone house and us kids started hanging with each other and plauing cards.
Eventually, it was just us high school kids which was like 4 of us, sitting in the basement talking about random stuff.
We talked about college and scary dreams and indians haha.
Remember the break dancing guy where I was like dayumm?
Apparently, his town is a 45 minute drive from where I live which is uber weird.
He was really funny and quite a gentleman, but my cousin wanted him so none of that for me :D haha.
We tried contacting spirits in the basement, but it wouldn't work because the house was brand new.
but when we were contacting spirits, this random kid who know one knew came downstairs and started playing with this ball and talking to himself in front of a wall (it rhymes!) and he was really pale for a Filipino and he didnt have eyebrows so we were freaking out and he would follow us everywhere.
My family had to leave early (11 o clock) because we had to travel home the next day.
We all said our goodbyes and gave our hugs and kisses and formed our huge circle where we chanted jumped around.
I broke my ring in that circle, but that's ok it was cheap anyway.
We left and went back to the hotel.
And then we left on our way back home for 13 hours.
I hhad so much fun this weekend and imma miss all of my cousins and friends there.

Brasil

Ok so the World Cup started a while ago,
and I was gonna write a post about it, but I was busy so I'm writing it now :D
So I'm rooting for Portugal and Brasil.
And it just so happens that the two are in the same group.
My favorite players are Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kaka's amazing and hot, and he wants to be a priest after he retires after soccer. How amazing is that?
And then Cristiano Ronaldo...
Oh my, Sexy. Beast.
and he's amazing at soccer as well.
Well, unfortunately,
Kaka can't play against Cristiano Ronaldo because during the Brasil vs. Ivory Coast game,
there was a lot of pushing and shoving and arguing with the ref. And Kaka was legitimately shoving this guy so he got a yellow card.
BUT THEN, this Ivory Coast player named Keita comes running after Kaka, and Kaka puts his arm up to protect himself, but I guess his arm hit Keita's chest, and then Keita goes down to the ground, covering an eye, and being all dramatic, but then the ref gave Kaka ANOTHER yellow card, and therefore resulting in a red card, which means that the player is ejected from the game, can't play in the next game, and has to pay a fine (I think).
And the next game is the Brasil vs. Portugal game :(
But that call was a lousy call. They had it on replay like 20 times showing that Kaka DID NOTHING, and Keita making a fool outta himself. But Brasil beat them 3-1 in the game so I'm good.
For Portugal,
Today they played against North Korea.
I didn't even know that North Korea even had a team until this year.
But Portugal OWNED North Korea 7-0.
INCLUDING an amazing goal from Cristiano Ronaldo.
And this concludes my Brasil and Portugal broadcast.
PEACE.

Done

With freshman year!
I'm a sophomore now :D
Psh, no one cares about sophomores but whatever.
I took my last final yesterday which was history,
and it totally raped my butt.
I didn't know any of the answers so I took educational guesses.
But during the last 20 minutes or so of the final,
the fire alarm went off and everyone in my class was PISSED including myself because we were in the middle of writing a five paragraph essay and we're all honors nerds.
So we waited for about 15 minutes outside and went back in and tried to hurr up and finish our tests,
but five minutes later,
the alarm goes off again.
If it was a prank, it wasn't that funny.
Well maybe the first time was funny, but the second time, no.
Well it's summer now!
Celebrated the first day at the lake with some friends.
Got to eat some ice cream cake.
I am a beast at eating cake.
Also, I got invited to lookville.com which is kinda like lookbook.nu, but it's pretty cool.
So in all, yesterday was a pretty swell day.
Have a great summer!

MTV Movie Awards 2010

On Sunday,
some funny stuff went down.
Aziz Ansari was the host.
Pretty funny guy right thar.
Well here are my picks from the red carpet.
Most of them, I'm just bashing out on them.
Enjoy :)

Anna Kendrick.
Pretty Zac Posen dress.
I don't really like the shoes though.
They're a bit too chunky and it just adds more volume to the whole outfit.

Christian Siriano.

My idol, my love, "I'm having a moment" <3

Julianne Hough.
Simple LBD.
Can't get anymore prettier than that.
And the clutch adds a geometric feel.
I just dont like the shoes. They look velvet.
I think a pair of Louboutins would look better.

Kristen Stewart.
I like the idea and texture of the dress.
Just not the colors.
And again for the shoes.
Something less...chunky.

Mark Salling.
YUM-O.
He's got some of his mohawk back...BUT
Plaid? Could you be a little more...formal?

Scarlett Johannson.
Gorgeous.
The green is stunning on her skin and the shoes are just simple.
Kinda reminds me of that one time Amanda Seyfried wore a green dress one time.

Vanessa Hudgens.
She looks like she's wearing legit lingerie.
If it were a different color, like pale pink or lilac,
with a less boobage,
I think it'd work.

Whitney Port.
This dress was stunning.
The bright yellow really pops from her skin.
And for the shoes... eh... studded booties?
It kinda works...kinda doesn't.
It does bring out the underlying fabric of the dress tho.

Finals Update

So here's how it goes,
I have been in hardcore study mode for about one and a half weeks now.
I am going to have a panic attack.
I have been studying day and night and whenever I have free time at school.
I have five actual finals; Math, History, Russian, Science, and English.
I must stay postive but here's the truth.
I will fail my Math final. (I haven't even gotten the review packet for that class and the final is on Friday at 7:20 in the morning. Not good.)
I will get a D on my History final.
I will get an A on my Russian final.
I will get an A on my Science final.
And I will get an A on my English final.
I must stay postive. Stay positive. Positivity is good.

Happy June!

I would've made a post yesterday,
but I couldn't because I had no cable or internet,
so I couldn't really do anything, besides sleep and study.
June came by so quickly.
Soon, I'll be taking finals.
I'm SO excited.
