The orchestra room was awesome though cuz the window sill I'm sitting on has like,

2 more rows, so you could get 2 more people to sit there and stuffs.

Filipino New Year

Traditions! or Superstitions

I do these every year.

So this year when I'm anxiously waiting for that obnoxious ball to drop on TV,

I'll be doing the following:

-Wearing Polka Dots

- Jumping Up and Down

-Shaking a Jar of Coins

-Making Lots of Noise

-Turning on all of the Lights

-Eat Noodles!

-Putting Twelve Different Round Fruits on the Table

-Singing Happy Birthday to Myself

All of these little things has a purpose.

Polka Dots?

Its supposed to symbolize prosperity

Jumping Up and Down?

Supposedly to "make you grow taller"

Shaking a Jar of Coins?

To bring in more money in the year

Making Lots of Noise?

To scare of those evil spirits lurking everywhere

Eat Noodles?

They represent longevity

Twelve Round Fruits?

One fruit for each month of the year

Sing Happy Birthday?

Psh, It's my birthday on New Years

Well,

Everyone pretty much talks about how the year either sucked or was really good,

and then they reflect on their resolutions and blah blah blah.

Most of those people who made resolutions are those who brag about how they're goin to lose 10 lbs and going to eat healthier, and then they just cave in and snack down on those bags of Cheetos and Lays and such.

If you're like me, you wouldn't make a resolution at all.

You would have a constant goal in mind for like 5 years.

So write now, go get a piece of paper,

write down your goal

say it to yourself until you have annoyed everyone in your family,

burn the piece of paper,

and go do what your saying for 5 years.

Not that hard people.

Now you're probably wondering what my goal was.

Nothing too special,

just to be more active and get better grades.

It's working out good.

First Game

Yesterday,

I scored the 1/3 of our points!

The score was 46-6 them.

The lane was closed, and no one was open,

and I was near the 3 point line.

When I made my shot,

my coach said to me,

"Don't take shots from there, Nikki".

So he's telling me not to take shots when I have the oppurtunity to while we're being massacred?

Found out this kid's name,
He goes by Jon.
I talked to him in the hallway.
He seemed quite shy.
Whatever.
He still stares.

Rosette and I look over, and I see him doing all of these poses.

It's Been A While

Since my last post,

I've been really busy with school, writing essays, taking tests, all that good stuff.

I've also been busy with sports as well.

Finished physical therapy and started basketball.

Frosh kick butt.

Anyways, that's it for now.

Wait!

There's been this kid who's been staring at me and my friend Jenn all the time,

it's so obvious because when we catch him staring, he turns his head and pretends not to notice.

I was supposed to find out his name today,

but I never did.

To Give

Tis the season to give,

Today is the day to give thanks.

To all, have a wonderful holiday of relaxation.

Especially after surviving a food coma.

Sad Face

This makes me sad,

This is not soccer.

This is street fighting.

Soccer is a game of passion and strategy,

using your mind and feet.

Not your elbows.

To get the ball, you use your feet.

Not by yanking some chicks hair.

If she hit me or pulled my hair, like what she did to those other girls,

she wouldn't be able to play soccer anymore...

But then I probably wouldn't be able to play either.

But still...

What she did was wrong.

Yeah, she apologized,

but if I wouldn't forgive her.
